The Pontiac SMART Community Complex meeting went well and alot of progress was made. More to come.......

I will be attempting to revisit the Art Experience to address the computers their......will you still be facilitating computer lab?

Hi Marcia:

Thanks for the information. Our meeting went well. I shared the opportunity with the artists and made them aware of the viability issues. We will monitor the Unity Park Project situation and propose when/if appropriate. We discovered/discussed several other possibile projects we could collaborate on. What are the odds, that they created a "large wall mural" in the urban area next to Webster Elementary School in Detroit and have worked in that community for several years. We will be creating some things to offer to Webster. We will also get the Art Experience computer laboratory up and running next week to give us yet another connection in the Pontiac community. We also discussed supporting Reverand Keys computer laboratory with an installation and various programming offerings. Could you set-up a meeting so that we can visit and discuss timing with Reverand Keys? They will also be supporting our Summer Camp 2003 Program at the observatory among other possibilities.

I've noted the information given, and per our telephone conversation today think maybe the best approach is for you to contact the Board member you met. Until we know that Comm Dev will allow the installation of these "signage boards", site-plan requirements and whether the residents agree with these boards, I believe we can place this on "temporary hold".

Who do we have to speak to about this possibility? We are meeting on Friday, March 21, 2003 at 1:00PM at the observatory to discuss the possibilities. Can you join us?
